Thursday 4/4/13 - Final 10:00 Competition Test Day!
1. long cycle: 20kg x 72 / 10:00 (PR!)

notes - this was a great day! My previous best is 71 w/ 20kgs in training and 65 w/ 20kgs in competition both at a bodyweight of 220-225 -- today I weighed only 182 and beat my previous bests! Looking good for 4/13; now we recover and taper down...

Monday 4/8/13 - Taper Week
BW - 182lbs (weight class cut off is 187 so we're good to go!)

Tuesday 4/9/13
1. long cycle: 20kg x 42 / 6:00
*bike x 20:00

Only one more taper training session scheduled for Thursday - plan to go 5:00 w/ 20kgs x 7-8rpm, then a light set of 3:00 or so with the 16kgs @ 8-10rpm on Friday after I get to Sarasota followed by stretching, relaxation, epsom salt bath and meditation and mental prep.  All the work it done, time to bring it together on the platform! Goal is 70+ (good enough for rank 2 in the 90+k in the 85kg weight class on Saturday 4/13!  See you at the beach!
